In line with Government guidance on the Coronavirus situation, Juul & Payne Advanced Eyecare is now only opening on Tuesdays between 10am and 3pm for the foreseeable future. We are only open to place orders for contact lenses; allow collections and to replace broken frames etc.
The spectacle lens companies are all closed at the moment, but we do have a stock of basic multi coated single vision lenses. This means we can make up single vision distance or near glasses if you have a standard prescription. Please email the practice on firstname.lastname@example.org if you need this service. We do not carry a stock of contact lenses, but if you email your order to email@example.com we will try to get them for you. Currently (26th of March 2020) many contact lens suppliers are open, but we cannot guarantee for how long. You are also very welcome to phone us on our usual number (0117 9735929) and leave a message.
Although regular eyecare appointments are postponed this does not apply to essential workers. If you have broken your glasses/run out of contact lenses etc. and feel your eyesight has changed you may book an eye exam. Please email us to book an appointment at firstname.lastname@example.org or if you have any questions about this.
If you have a medical emergency with your eyes please phone Jan on 0117 9734627 between 11am and 3pm for triage. Examples of medical emergencies are:
Please do not call with inquiries about anything else.
If you’ve got sudden loss of vision and/or painful red eye, sudden double vision, or sudden different size pupils please phone the Eye Hospital on Lower Maudlin Street. Especially if you already have diabetes, glaucoma or macular degeneration. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Best wishes and stay safe!
