We have now reopened our doors for routine eyecare and are making every effort to offer you the highest quality eyecare in the safest possible environment. With most of our staff having returned, we are open 6 days a week from 1st August 2020.
In order to protect you during your visit, we have implemented social distancing measures in-practice, our staff will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we have adopted rigorous cleaning regimes.
As we move into a new way of providing eyecare, we’ve invested in the latest technology to ensure we still provide customers with the highest level of service during their visits.
Protecting each other
We ask that all customers make an appointment prior to their visit so we can better manage footfall in the practice. Our team will be wearing PPE and we ask that all customers wear a suitable face mask or face-covering too. Don’t worry if you haven’t got one, we will have disposable masks available for customers.
When you’re in-practice, hand sanitiser will be readily available for you to use throughout your visit. We have also invested in UV-C air purifiers to kill viruses and bacteria and so minimise the risk of infection spread.
Technology to keep you safe
When you attend your eye test in Bristol, you can rest assured we’ve taken every precaution to protect you. Our investment in new technology means we can provide you with a thorough and accurate eye examination while ensuring social distancing measures are met. Our advanced eye exams now include:
This cutting-edge instrument carries out an examination of the front of your eye, measuring your prescription, calculating any eye strain and exploring how your vision is affected in different light conditions, for example, when driving at night. This state-of-the-art machine also measures potential risks of developing common eye diseases, such as cataracts and glaucoma, in a painless and non-invasive way. The WAM 800 also measures the shape of the cornea so that we can create custom-fitted contact lenses for individuals with keratoconus.
This advanced eye scan provides adetailed, panoramic image of your retina, enabling us to detect any early signs of disease or damage, while remaining at least one metre away from you.
This piece of equipment eliminates the need for trial frames and lenses, measuring your exact prescription while maintaining a distance of 1.6 metres between you and your optometrist.
We’re excited to now have a selection of our eyewear and contact lenses available online. We’ve added a virtual try-on tool for eyewear, so if you are unable to visit us in person, you can still explore new styles, try sunglasses online and buy glasses frames online from the safety of your home.
We’ve also just launched our virtual consultation service, enabling you to discuss your eyewear and eyecare needs with a member of our team through our website. Learn more about our improved online services here.
With new technology, social distancing measures and our online services in place, your eyecare services with Juul & Payne Advanced Eyecare; your opticians in Clifton, are ready and waiting for you. To plan your visit or find out more, get in touch with our team today.
