DriveSafe makes driving and walking safer by reducing the glare from oncoming headlights and, unlike yellow filters, you have full colour vision making obstacles and dangers more visible. Yellow filters can completely hide a bicyclist on the road in front of you while DriveSafe's design makes them more visible. The varifocal lens has a large distance and intermediate area reducing distortion and a small 'mobile phone-sized' reading area. All DriveSafe lenses are also available in transitions. One of our optometrists always uses a pair of these for driving as they make it so much less stressful.
The new Myocare lens has had amazing results in trials on children with myopia showing those children are over 50% less shortsighted than their untreated peers.
SmartLife Young Lenses are also purpose-built for kids and teens who use smartphones a lot. They are perfect for young people’s connected and active lifestyle and changing anatomy.
Digital Lens - The ZEISS 'customised design for your eyes' digital lens has been shown to reduce computer stress and tired eyes in either single vision or varifocal. The lens is also available in blue light blocking and anti-glare coatings. This lens has a small distance area and large intermediate and reading area vision. This is ideal for using desktop computer screens and mobile phones on the same desk. These lenses are also really good for craft work and DIY but please wear safety glasses if you're expecting a lot of dust or flying bits. Our older optometrist always wears a pair of these at work as they allow a much more comfortable head and back posture as well as reducing glare and making everything nice and clear.
64% of ZEISS DriveSafe wearers reported this lens reduced perceived glare. 97% of wearers were very satisfied with their glasses while driving & 94% of wearers were very satisfied with these lenses for other everyday tasks also.
