With Christmas nearly here, it’s definitely time to make sure you’ve got your eyewear needs taken care of.
Get an Up to Date Prescription
As your vision changes, your lenses also need to change to help you to see with clarity. If you notice a difference in your ability to focus properly or blurry vision whilst driving or watching the TV, we highly recommend booking an eye exam to get your vision and eye health checked over thoroughly for your peace of mind. You can book an eye exam through our simple online booking system or by calling us today.
If you’re unable or hesitant to come in but would still like advice, why not try out our virtual consultation tool during our opening hours? You’ll be able to connect to one of our highly experienced optometrists and discuss any eyecare queries from the comfort of your own home.
Have A Backup Pair of Glasses
Leaving your glasses at home, sitting on them, or forgetting where they are. We’ve all been there before! Why not get a spare pair of glasses to keep at home or even in the car, so you can enjoy Christmas and the new year with clear vision and the knowledge that you’re covered whatever happens to your specs?
This is also a great backup for contact lens wearers and gives your eyes a bit of a rest during the holidays, not to mention the fact that it gives you another style option for your eyewear wardrobe.
You can either shop from our selected ranges online for another pair or visit us in practice to see all of our collections in person. Remember, we also have our own in-house glazing lab, so we can carry out emergency repairs, replacements and make up new pairs if needed.
Craving Some Winter Sun?
Most of us crave a bit of winter sun. If you’re being brave and planning a winter getaway, or just looking forward to walks on crisp and sunny winter days, now is a great time to pick up a new pair of sunglasses. We’ve got a wide range available to buy online from the award winning Maui Jim and sustainable brand Eco to suit all visual needs and styles, and even more options at our premises in Clifton, Bristol.
Try Before You Buy
If you’re unsure about buying glasses online, why not try them on from the comfort of your own home with our virtual try-on service? Try on as many pairs as you like from leading brands Maui Jim and Silhouette, and if you’re still not sure, you can always request a virtual consultation with one of our expert team during our opening hours.
Order Contact Lens Supplies
Have you got enough contact lenses for the holidays? Don’t forget to order yours in advance either online or by calling us if you’re running out soon.
This is also a great time to check that you have enough contact lens solution – Jan suggests carrying a clean solution filled case for hard gas permeable lenses and spare daily soft contacts. Add a tiny tube of eye drops and/or saline and you’ll be well prepared with a pocket sized kit. We have all these products in stock.
Anti-Fog Treatment for Glasses
Does wearing a mask fog up your glasses? We offer glasses lenses with anti fog treatments for the days when you’re out and about. Lasting the whole day, this anti fog treatment is the perfect solution to save you from constantly steamed up specs!
Whatever your eyecare or eyewear needs, either visit our website to make the most of our online services or come and visit us in person at our opticians practice in Clifton. Remember that under the current restrictions you need to pre book appointments, but you can still pop in to pick up your supplies.
