Practice Refit - Opening Hours Changes
The first phase of our current building refurbishment project is now complete (see below for details).
We will be closing from Tuesday 15th March 2022 while we relocate from our temporary examination rooms to our new ground floor and basement test rooms and start the final phase of the project - which involves the complete refit of the main reception area.
During the refit period we will only be able to offer a limited / emergency eye examination service and we will have only a very limited styling consultation and spectacle dispensing service available. We will still be able to order contact lenses and carry out repairs.
We will resume routine sight testing, and our full eyewear styling and dispensing service, once the refit is complete at the end of April or early May 2022.
An emergency contact number is available on our answer phone if you need to contact the practice when we are closed. You can also still contact us by email on reception@juulandpayne.co.uk. Regular updates on our opening hours will be provided on our website https://www.juulandpayne.co.uk/ and on Google My Business.

Practice Refit Progress & Plan
We started a major transformation of the practice building in October 2021. The first phase is now complete and involved creating new test rooms with improved disabled access on the ground floor. It also involves creating new test rooms in the basement which will give us additional capacity and the ability to offer a wider range of specialist services.
The first picture below shows the corridor between our ground floor test and instrument rooms. The second picture shows our basement glazing lab which Chris has custom designed to his specification (his very own "man cave") in the very final stages of completion and prior to the equipment being installed.
